Offerings
Budget
This money is collected at each meeting and is used to defray the expenses of the Ladies Ministries Department as well as expenses incurred by various church sponsored dinners, receptions, showers, and parties. It is also used to defray the cost of providing flowers and gifts to those who have lost a member of their immediate family or who are hospitalized. Funds may also be used to assist in meeting any special financial needs of the church.
Mothers Memorial
Collected on Mother’s Day, half of this offering remains in the local church and is used to support Ladies Ministries events. The other half is sent to the Connecticut District Ladies Ministries. The Connecticut District Ladies Ministries keeps half of its portion to fund district Ladies Ministries functions and sends the other half to the UPCI Ladies Ministries. The UPCI Ladies Ministries uses its portion of this offering to support various UPCI ministries: Global Missions (missionary appliances and assistance for overseas Bible Schools and Ministry Training programs), North American Missions (literature and Prison Ministry), Office of Education and Endorsement, The Urshan Graduate School of Theology, World Network of Prayer, My Hope Radio, UPCI Music Ministry, and Church Advancement. Funds are also allocated by the UPCI Ladies Ministries to meet the financial needs of Lighthouse Ranch for Boys, (a home for troubled boys), Tupelo Children’s Mansion (a residential childcare facility), Haven of Hope Girls’ Home, (a residential program for girls ages 13-16 with behavioral and emotional issues), and New Beginnings, (a maternity care center for young women in need and a child placement service). In addition, Mothers Memorial funds support the various Ladies Ministries Connections: Today’s Christian Girl, More to Life (Bible-based literature), P.U.R.E., Ladies Prayer International, H.O.P.E. (for women in divorce crisis), Women of Worth (for widows of ministers), Reflections Magazine, and A.B.L.E. (for persons with special needs and disabilities).
Adopted Missionary Offering
This offering, collected at the annual Christmas Celebration, is sent to the UPCI Ladies Ministries and is used to send each global missionary child a card and $15.00 on his/her birthday. For Christmas, each global missionary family is sent $130.00 plus an additional $15.00 per child.

Tupelo Children’s Mansion
Each month, as a basic budget sponsor, the Ladies Ministries of The Apostolic Church of Enfield sends a $10.00 offering to Tupelo Children’s Mansion, a residential childcare facility that provides family unit and individual care, as well as services for children with emotional problems. The Mansion is available to children whose relationship with their parents and whose family situation, level of development, and social or emotional problems are such that placement at Tupelo Children’s Mansion is determined to be the most appropriate service for them. Children in need, regardless of race, color, or religious background are accepted at Tupelo Children’s Mansion for love, care, and nurture. To children who are hurting due to abandonment, abuse, and neglect by parents and families, Tupelo Children’s Mansion extends the loving hand of Jesus Christ, providing them the opportunity to grow spiritually, intellectually, physically, and emotionally.
